If any person feels his name is wrongly deleted, they can file an appeal or go to courts. 

Fear mongering is what these critics are doing. Northern part of Bihar has seen major Bangladeshi influx. This exercise should be actually carried throughout the country and every last person who isnt illegible to vote, should be removed

Mass disenfranchisement? Really on what basis? If you cant prove that you are a citizen then on what basis you should be allowed to vote. The onus falls on the person to have required documents. Voter Id laws are very clear on this. We require government ID to vote. 

How many here have been made illegal despite having documents to prove their citizenship? Are we now advocating for illegals to vote in our democratic setup?

So should illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, Rohingyas and dead people be allowed to vote? If SIR is happening and it’s cleaning up the voter list to remove fraud voter registrations and dead folks, only parties that support illegal immigration as vote banks stand to lose. 

Only citizens of this country should have the right to vote. Period.

Yesterday, Chief Electoral Officer in Bihar released an advertisement in every newspaper saying that people can submit their forms without documents, contrary to the earlier notification.

Later in the day, the Chief Election Commissioner said that there is no change in the notification.

These people are clueless.

I don't think the exercise is illegitimate in and of itself, but it should be suspended for the time being because there's simply not enough time to complete it before elections. If it has to be done, it should be done after elections.

Stop this nuisance the way this article and you have presented it makes it feel like everyone's name will be out of voter list except for Voters of BJP-JDU. Rather than reading article which has no authencity go and read election commissions website you will get to know what's the need and why it is being done.

Everyone knows the sudden spike in Muslim population in Seemanchal and corrupt officials providing them documents and voter ID card can be problematic. Everyone knows that Bangladeshi have infiltrated and TMC was involved in getting them documents. Go read Bengaluru Police findings in which TMC politicians and supporters alongwith Corrupt officials helped them getting Aadhar and other documents.

For the first time any state is going to use E-voting which will enable people residing outside Bihar can caste their vote from their respective place without any hassle. And the way you presented it like everyone will lose their vote let's come to reality BLO is visiting every house for verification and not just that you can even do it online like I did for myself as well as my family without leaving Delhi NCR.

Atlast come to your Tabrej story in the article so even if Tabrej's father died and his name was removed from Voter list recently then his father name would have been in 2003 list and that's sufficient as proof and even if his father died before 2003 then also it can be verified as BLO is a local representative and they know voters very well.

So if you don't like BJP-JDU don't vote them but stop spreading misinformation.

The problem which that department will face is that whatever criteria they will decide for the verification the illegal will be first to full fill it and many "human rights activists" will provide any possible resource to them. 

And many "underprivileged" actual citizens will not be able to fulfill the criteria. 

Not to mention there will be political parties which will crave for illegal's votes and give somewhat similar statements like "they have the first right on the resource of the nation". USA is also facing problems due to this particular con of democracies.

Sure kicking the "undesirables" out of the country would be good. But you know in some cities you may be part of the "undesirable". Maybe some states will link it to speaking the local language, maybe some will link it to the right caste/religion. Any law which reverses the burden of proof i.e. citizen need to prove they are citizens (instead of agency proving you are an alien) will be heavily mis-used. Just look at the Assam NRC experience.

You do know that ECI does infact conduct Roll Revision periodically, right? And they have majorly completed this revision last month. This Special Revision didn't make sense cause they were asked to ignore multiple documents that Biharis had and asked for stuff like Birth certificate, previous election ECI number that no one had. 

This isn't the win that you should be celebrating. 

And explain me how is this a win for Election Integrity.
